December 2021 Update

Our doors are open & we are excited to welcome you back! Our office follows strict infection control protocols made by the Alberta College of Optometrists and Alberta Health. We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are current to any new rulings or guidance, HOWEVER this may not be the same as the Provincial Government Guidelines at this time.

You will see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. We made these changes to help protect our patients and staff. For example:

- All staff at the clinic will be wearing masks. It is up to regulations whether you wear one or not. Please ask staff when booking what is currently required. It will also be posted on door.
*** As of December 2021, masks are mandatory.
- Appointments continue to be required for the doctors and frame room. We have relaxed many guidelines but are continuing to sanitize all frames, equipment, and doctor's offices between patients.
- Our waiting room & public restroom are once again in use. Please respect other patients/staff with social distancing - some patients are immunocompromised. If you have small children, try to keep them close.
- Please use hand sanitizer available when you enter the office. You will also find some in the receptions area and other places in the office for your convenience.

We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice. Thank you for your confidence in our practice; we value your patience as we work through all these changes.
