Dr. Randi Yee grew up in the small town of Indian Head, Saskatchewan. She studied at the University of Regina before pursuing her Optometry Degree at the University of Waterloo. Randi graduated with honors in 2018. Upon graduation, she was awarded the J.C. Thompson Memorial Prize for clinical excellence. Throughout her studies, she gained experience in ocular disease, contact lenses, binocular vision, pediatrics and low vision. As part of her training, Randi completed an ocular disease externship in Salt Lake City, Utah where she focused on the detection and management of glaucoma and also fostered her passion for hiking. She has also provided volunteer eye care in Ecuador and plans on participating in additional mission trips in the future.
Outside of optometry, Randi is an outdoor enthusiast who also enjoys playing a variety of sports, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
Randi is excited to serve Hinton and the surrounding communities and is eager to meet new and existing patients.
